Increases sensitivity to sunlight is also a side effect of blood pressure medications. You may avoid direct exposure to sunlight especially for extended periods of time. In addition, you may use hats to minimize the area exposed to sunlight. Other side effects include swollen gums, tender and bleeding gums and dry mouth.
